Special care is required for fur. Your fur should be cleaned furrier method by a professional furrier if you don't have one in your area I can suggest one to you. Furs should be stored at a furrier in the off season when not being used.
Do not store in a cedar chest , damp basement, hot attic, in a plastic bag.
If your fur becomes wet from snow, shake the snow off and let your item air dry completely, do not use heat.
Hang your garment on a wide shouldered hanger to protect the shoulders of your garment and provide proper space in the closet for your item.
